Hook Component Detail
version 2 - 18/02/25
This is dimensionally identical to the sketch produced by AT-PAC on drawing no. AP UK 0342 02 01 Splay Deck Supports.pdf. This is drawn as 8mm thick flat bar, bent to create a 57mm internal front-to-back depth, 40mm internal vertical depth and 40mm wide.
For reference, the hook component used on the AT-PAC ‘Z’ stair is manufactured using 6mm flat bar, bent to create a 52mm internal front-to-back depth, 45mm internal vertical depth and 40mm wide.

Backplate Detail
VERSION 2 - 18/02/25
This is dimensionally identical to the sketch produced by AT-PAC on drawing no. AP UK 0342 02 01 Splay Deck Supports.pdf. This is drawn as 5mm thick flat bar. The plate is 40mm deep. It has 6no. 8mm countersunk holes drilled into it to match with the holes in the chequerplate.
For reference, the backplate component used on the AT-PAC ‘Z’ stair is manufactured using 6mm flat bar. It is 50mm deep.

Wind Latch Detail
version 2 - 18/02/25
A steel bracket will be connected onto the back face of the chequerplate, using the same fixing positions as the hook assembly. This will then give a horizontal surface underneath the chequerplate for a wind latch to be assembled onto. This is currently located onto the outer two hooks, but can be applied in all 3 positions, if necessary.
Fixing Details
version 2 - 18/02/25

On 18/02/25 we received a revised sketch produced by AT-PAC on drawing no. AP UK 0342 02 01 Splay Deck Supports.pdf, This suggests new hook locations that do not conflict with the fixing positions - as shown in the above images.
